Models K844S & K955D CNC Machines

Q: What are the major differences between models 844 & 955?
A: The 955 has twice the rigidity of the model 844. So if you are doing work in glass or metal, the 955 would work much faster and last longer. The 955 also has a larger working area.

This Computer Controlled CNC Machining Center and Engraving Machine consists of the following:

  • Servo resolution for all axis is 0.000024 inch. Repeatability ±0.00008"

  • 844: The X axis travel is 210mm (8.27"). The Y axis travel is 110mm (4.33"). The Z axis travel is 110mm (4.33").

  • 955: The X axis travel is 235mm (9.25"). The Y axis travel is 135mm (5.3"). The Z axis travel is 135mm (5.3").

  • All axis tables guided by precision ground steel U-shape rails with matching linear ball bearings.

  • All axis tables are positioned by precision ground re-circulating ball bearing, zero backlash screws. Ball screws are supported by zero backlash ball thrust bearings.

  • Machine Frame- Steel structure, internally cast with vibration damped material composite using a proprietary harmonic resonance damping technology. This technology kills vibration in the steel frame.

  • All axes controlled by servo motors. Peak stall torque 150 oz-in.

  • 30mm Precision High Torque Brushless DC 2,000 to 40,000 RPM air cooled with a stainless steel housing. Output power is 210Watts. Made in Japan. Manual tool change, collet 1/8" or 1/4" max. Very quiet.

  • Working table with perforated grid 3/8" threaded hole pattern for use with standard hold-down clamps.
